Rebecca - Cropped Poncho ( 完成嘍！)

With my healthy body, clear pattern instruction and 3 days off work, the poncho is done!

This poncho works from top down, after knitting 20 cm for neck, the poncho is made with Fisherman's Rib stitches. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to increase stitches...I was lucky to have a friend helped me to understand the pattern instruction and figured out the increase! It is quite easy actually ~.<

On the pattern, the poncho measures about 50 cm but I didn't make mine that long. I bind off at about 45 cm. I am not tall and I think shorter poncho will fit me better!

Bel Air really is one of my favorite yarn, airy and warm. A bit expensive but you get what you paid for!

I can't wait for winter to come so I can show it off!

Oh, my head hurts!

Not only from my cold but also from this project...

頭痛啊！除了感冒了近一星期之外，這件Poncho也讓我頭大！

There is only me to blame. Before starting this project, I have "BRIEFLY" read the pattern and revisited the stitch "Fisherman's rib". Just as I thought everything is clear and was knitting along the pattern...There is the problem! 

只能怪自己嘍。在開打之前，我稍微瀏覽了一下織圖，也再次確認"Fisherman's Rib"的織法。就當我以為一切都清楚明瞭，開打之後才發現。。。有大麻煩了！ 

At where I am suppose to increase some stitches, I just can't understand the instruction on the pattern! I went to Rebecca knitting Forum to ask for advise and "Thank God", this lady Strickschlumpf has been very helpful and gave me some ideas about how to increase those stitches. I think I "sort of" know what the pattern wants me to do but I just don't seem to be able to make it work !

在需要加針的部份，我實在是看不懂織圖上的解釋！跑到Rebecca knitting Forum上尋求協助，感謝老天爺，有Strickschlumpf的幫忙，雖然我還是不懂織圖的解說，但大概知道加針的方向，不過，是了幾百次，還是會卡住啦 >.<

Rebecca - Cropped Poncho

After a brave cycling journey to Loop, my favorite yarn shop in Angel, my next project is ready to go ! The pattern is from Rebecca No. 32 - Cropped Poncho. Looks quite cute ! 

超勇敢的騎上鐵馬到了我最愛的Loop，我的下一個作品終於可以開打嘍！

這次想打的是一件Poncho，圖還是從Rebecca No. 32來的，蠻可愛的喔！ 

The color I was going to get was fuchsia but there are only 2 skins in the shop ! 

Not only I have no patient to wait, I also really don't want another dark, dull color piece of cloth in my closet so I went "crazy" and got myself 3 skins of bright red Bel Air yarn ! 

Hope things turn out fine~~

原本想買的顏色是fuchsia，不過店裡只剩兩球。。。

我實在是沒有耐性慢慢等Loop補貨，又不想為衣櫃裡多加一件暗色系的衣服，

就醬，我發狂的挑了這三球紅到不能再紅的Bel Air！

希望成品別差太多～～

我的 cabled helmet with scarf 離完工之日還有好一段時間呢, 我居然在物色接下來的 Projects了!

It is from Rebecca Special magazine No.2 , Project No5. Top with Scarf
It will be fun to wear !

這一個是我的，樣式是從 Rebecca Special Magazine No2. 上找到的。
這穿起來一定很有趣！



This one is for Mr. M (aka my husband).
The pattern is from Rebecca magazine (again !) No 26 Project 31.
It is a hooded sweater with a pocket in front. It is cute but I think it will be a huge challenge for me to make ! I am also having a hard time getting the yarn "Travertino". Wish me good luck !

這一件則是要給Mr. M的。樣式還是從Rebecca Magazine No.26上找到的。這件連帽毛衣在前面還有一個口袋！雖然可愛，但應該會是個超級大挑戰吧！
另外，找這毛線實在是很難。。。Travertino 哪裡找啊？祝我好運！



This is the one I really really wanna make. Yes, yes, yes...from Rebecca again ! From Special No2, this one can be tied around the waist or wrapped loosely around the neck. Interesting !
It needs 10 skins of Soft Kid...that's a lot money ! I need to do some "yarn hunting" !

這是我超級想要的！是的，樣式還是從 Rebecca Special No.2 來的！可以綁在腰上或繞在脖子上！有趣吧！不過，這件要用到10球的Soft Kid...那可是很多“摳摳“呢！得來找找了。。。

Well, I better go back to my project and concentrate on it so I can finish it and move on to the next one, which one ? ?

我該乖乖的完成手上的Project再來進行下一個。。。哪一個啊？

Cabled helmet with scarf

This is what I am working on right now - Cabled helmet with scarf from the magazine Knit.1 Fall 2006

這是我正在努力打的帽子＋圍巾。圖樣是從 Knit.1 2006秋季刊來的。



I just started this couple days ago and it is very easy ...so far !

前幾天才開打，到目前為止都還簡單！







I will have to knit the hat and scarf separately and stitch them together to finish the helmet. Shouldn't be too difficult ~.<

先分開完成圍巾與帽子，最後再將兩者縫合，應該不會太困難吧？！

About the yarn...remember this sweater ?

關於這毛線。。。還記得這件毛衣嗎？



It's "gone" ! I actually really like the sweater but it was too heavy for me to wear in summer! So, I ripped off the sweater and hope to make something that can be useful for the coming winter ! Wish me good luck !

毛衣沒啦！
其實我很喜歡這毛衣，不過夏天穿起來真的是重到一個不行！所以我就拆了他，打成一個在冬天實用的織品！

ISE 4 update ! I am back ! 終於回來嘍！

I am back !
Finally after all the drama (broken computer) and a trip back home. I am finally back and have time to upload my ISE 4 scarf pictures and update my blogs....

I was a bit worry because the yarn is really warm and my pal lives in California....but the pattern from Rebecca 32 is just too beautiful ! It was a bit chaos at the beginning because the pattern on the magazine was wrong...It took me a long time to search online to find the correct pattern....I was a bit annoyed but it
was worth of it !!!
