My first sweater is done! 我的第一件毛衣完成了！
It is "D.O.N.E" , done! My 1st sweater ever, is done ! Mission accomplished.
完成啦！生平第一件毛衣終於完工。超級任務，成功！
It took me fully a month to make...a bit "bitter" dragging in the end, but it turns out really nice and I am very happy with it!
It was "love at first sight" thing when I saw the sweater in Rebecca Knitting magazine. Bel Air is the yarn they use for this sweater but of course I can't afford it! That is why I use the yarn I have and also that's where the nightmare starts....
這毛衣打了我整整一個月！雖然打到最後實在是老牛拖車的慢，不過，我對這成品是很滿意的喔！一見到Rebecca 裡的這毛衣我就認定他是我的第一個毛衣挑戰！雜誌中的Bel Air毛線是意料中的貴，光頭妹我只好用手邊有的線打，同時，惡夢開始啦。。。
At the beginning, I was having a trouble figure out what the pattern is??? It says " k1, inserting needle into next st. 5 rows below into 1st or 7th row". What does that mean ? I finally find out how to do it after 2, 3 days of searching on line. Basically, you have to first "drop" the st. that you are supposed to knit 4 rows below then knit it....This pattern took a lot time to make but they look very different and pretty, I guess it was worth it after all!
我的第一個難題是把這花樣打法搞清楚，書上寫的我實在是搞不懂？終於在網上搜尋兩三天後理出頭緒。基本上，要打下針的那一目得先放掉4次，再打下針！這花樣雖然很花時間，不過，也算是值得啦！
Since I am using my own yarn, another problem I had was "Tension". I have to do "the math" ....Honestly, I am still not sure if I did it right or not ! The right gauge is 16sts*22rows, mine is 22sts.*30rows. So, I multiply the sts. on the pattern by 1.5 ! Is that right ? Oh, well, I am done and the size is OK... a bit too big though! (need to find out how to substitute yarn and shrink sweater...)
自找的另一麻煩是不同線有不同粗細。。。我不大行的數學上場嘍！老實說，我還是不確定我到底是作對做錯？書中用的線是16針＊22行，我用的線是22針＊30行。於是，我就把該打得針數都乘上1.5倍，對嗎？？？嗯，ok啦，至少成品不錯，有點大就是了（得找出如何substitute yarn及將毛衣縮水一下的方法。。。）
